Born To Be Wild

At the sanctuary we tend to many animals and this is no more prominent than the start of summer. As you probably know at this time of year young are being born which means we get calls frequently asking if we can take in baby birds/hedgehogs and even deer last year. Sadly we can not take in all of these animals due to a lack of space.

Although we do have some that are residents here at the sanctuary through illness or disabilities.

This is Tess, she came from Ramshaw rescue when it closed

One of three squirrels that were found by a builder as he was replacing a roof sadly the nest was destroyed.

This is Venus when she first came in, she was found in a children’s play area and couldn’t be left around children.

This is a bat that came in severely dehydrated after a few days it was released back in to the wild
